PDC Smart Band® RFID System

What is RFID?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification, an automatic identification technology that uses radio waves to transfer digital information between a tag and reader.

PDC Smart Band® RFID System provides non-transferable Positive Patient Identification, which can help save lives and money through reduced medical errors and increased patient safety. Benefits of PDC RFID Solutions include:

Smart Band Wristbands can be programmed and printed on demand by direct thermal or thermal transfer printers/programmer.

Smart ScanBand®

Featuring a secure and tamper-evident adhesive closure, computer-generated Smart ScanBand can be simultaneously printed with bar code information and programmed with RFID information on demand at a frequency of 13.56 MHz.
